Aggie Transfers Scholar Weekend

Join us at this in-person, on-campus event to plan your transfer from community college

Aug. 7-10, 2025

Planning to transfer to the University of California in the next couple of years? Join us in person and on campus for Aggie Transfer Scholars Weekend, or ATSW.

Students attending a community college that is part of the ºÙºÙÊÓƵ Transfer Opportunity Program (TOP), are invited to participate in a free, four-day, three-night summer residential intensive transfer preparation program. You will receive one-on-one assistance with your and explore the many support services and resource opportunities that a UC offers.

Applications open in May

Topics include:

  • Assistance with UC application and Personal Insight Questions 
  • Academic preparation and planning
  • Financial literacy
  • Resources at the university
  • Peer mentoring

Time commitment

Arrive at ºÙºÙÊÓƵ campus by 9 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 7 and stay for the entirety of the program until 3 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 10.

Eligibility

To participate, students must:

  • Intend to transfer to ºÙºÙÊÓƵ in fall 2026 for fall 2027
  • Currently attend a community college that is partnered with
  • Complete the following sections of the :
    • About me (Personal information, Demographic information, Support programs)
    • My academic history (Schools attended, Coursework, Exams, if any) - include past, current, and planned coursework through spring 2025
    • My transfer plan (Where and when I plan to transfer)

This program serves California community college students from economically and educationally disadvantaged backgrounds and geographically underserved communities.

Program cost

Housing, meals and program supplies are provided to all ATSW scholars. Students accepted to participate as ATSW scholars must provide their transportation to and from the ºÙºÙÊÓƵ campus for this event.
